Established in 2008, India Educate Trust (IET) is a social organization dedicated to community development across underserved sections of society. We believe that true empowerment stems from a holistic approach—integrating quality education with health, sanitation, and financial independence.

We believe that true development and empowerment of the community can be done only through education. Our focus is on improving the quality of education provided to students from local communities.

Our Strategy

We support 11 Government Schools in Kunikera and Hirebaganal Panchayats, focusing on:

  • Infrastructure: Tables, chairs, computers, and dining halls.
  • Student Support: Uniforms, learning kits, and scholarships.
  • Training: SDMC, Teachers, and Parents workshops.

"Education does not stop at School. For good education, good health is required and that translates into sanitation and safe drinking water. Moreover, for local communities to be able to send their children to schools, social and financial empowerment is a must."

With the aim of supporting meritorious students from economically backward class, India Educate Trust distributed scholarship for many students. India Educate Trust supported the selected students by offering support for tuition fees, Hostel Expenses and expenses of books, laptops etc.

Our Initiatives

Distribution of School Care Kit

Since 2008, India Educate Trust in association with Xindia Steels Limited is taking care of the requirements of rural village students to undergo their studies and attract students to schools. As part of this, India Educate Trust distributed school care kit to around 3000 students of 12 schools in Hirebaganal and Kunikera panchayaths of Koppal district. Among 12 schools, 11 were Government Schools and 1 was Ashram School.

School care kit consists of Notebooks, School bag, Shoes, Socks and health care items such as Toothpaste, Toothbrush and Bathing Soap. Toothpastes and Bathing Soaps are distributed on regular intervals to students.

Learning Centres

To improve the quality and methodology of teaching and studying, India Educate Trust in association with Makkala Jagriti, Bangalore established learning centres at different Government Primary Schools in Koppal district of Karnataka state.

Learning centres helped in attracting more students to Government schools and also drop-out rates are reduced drastically.

District Level Workshop For Teachers

India Educate Trust in association with Education Department, Koppal organised three days District level workshop for school teachers in two phases in the years 2013, 2014 & 2015.

Resource persons from different parts of the state handled the classes. This effort was extremely instrumental and directly helped in increasing the SSLC results of the entire Koppal district.

India Educate Trust in association with Xindia Steels Limited introduced a mobile health clinic service for the local community in Hirebaganal and Kunikera Panchayaths of Karnataka State.

Pure Drinking Water

With the aim of providing pure drinking water to the villagers, India Educate Trust installed RO water filter plants and also undertook the maintenance of RO water filter plants at Hirebaganal and Chikkabaganal villages.

Through this initiative, villagers are provided filtered RO water for a nominal rate, ensuring every family has access to clean, safe drinking water.
